As someone who has spent the last 45 years in Cornwall I can honestly say that the very best way to re-use leftover pasties is to smash em up and fry in a similar way to bubble and squeak. Great with pickled red cabbage.

The DYI kits videos/badges are a great idea! I’ll be waiting for those vids 😀 To test them, the other Normals could do it, just make sure they are idiot proof… Sorry Barry.

Firstly: really enjoyed the pod. I was listening to it whilst canning salsa made from ingredients I grew in my garden – I’m sure Ebbers would approve.
I am from Britain but I now live in America and use sorted as not only as food Inspo but also to itch the homesickness bug. It’s part of the reason I love the restaurant meal kit videos! As for cologne ideas, myself and my husband came up with these:
Mike : eau de huttlestorm: smells like morning dew, and has a hint of the crackling sky scent during a thunderstorm.
Barry : eau de cafe: smells like sweetened coffee with notes of driftwood because he definitely only drinks coffee from hipster coffee shops – the kind of places that have driftwood and sandalwood tables.
Ben: eau de greenhouse: smells like a greenhouse. Very herby and tomato vine- ish. I can also imagine a little hint of fennel roaming round the aroma.
Jamie: eau de steak: just smells like steak. Just very steaky. If you could juice a steak and bottle it, that would be the Jamie scent.

I don’t believe that Ben didn’t know about the wine, especially because of his fist raise and “Yes!” In the video

TBH, I am kinda proud of Barry to have re-constructed those pasties. It made people eat leftovers, which is a win! And I’ve love to see an battle of the meal kit! Ben gets to take home three meal kits – one each week, and can then rate it on flavour and ease of putting together.
Also, many perfumes already have a note of pepper, vanilla and bay leaf etc. Ben’s signature scent would be the combined scent of all the herbs he is growing presently. And Barry’s scent would have to have a note of truffle!

Thanks! 🙂 After today’s episode I am convinced that Mike’s fragrance would have a note of saffron in it.
