Just got a subscription and decided to start with the very first episode so I am very late to the party here but just wanted to say that there is actually more tryptophan in bacon per 100g than there is in turkey!
I was just trinking a sip of water when you started to mock the dogs. I was’nt able to swallow it fast enough. Had to stop the video for a few minutes.. Thanks for the cough 🤣
What was the book that ben was reading? I’d be interested to read it too!
The story about the turnspit dog was on QI quite a while ago.
A bit late to the party, but I have done one worst than gravy and chocolate cake and that is hot chocolate with onion gravy. In my defense I was deeply sleep deprived as I was in the last month of working on my master dissertation. Anyway I was pulling another all nighter and wanted a pick me up so got my usual pot, made some hot chocolate and went back to my dissertation. The only thing was that the chocolate was a bit lumpy but didn’t think much of it until I am half way through my cup and realize the lumps are not cacao but onions. Turns out my housemate had used the pot to make onion gravy earlier that day and left it on the hob with yeah u guessed it gravy in and I did not notice that when I grabbed it. So yeah that is where higher education gets you…
First of all, Baz, we need the rest of those stories! Second, Jamie, loved the friends reference! (“It tastes like feet”)!
